Resource Directory for Foster Care Alumni
MassNFCA provides a list of resources for foster care alumni on our web site. We are always looking for new resources to share with the community.

MassNFCA Mailing List Requirements
- E-mails are sent to our mailing list members up to twice a month on Mondays (with the occasional exception)
- The deadline for information to be included in these e-mails is the Thursday evening before the email will go out.
- Our e-mails are intended to provide information and opportunities to our readers. It is not a place for personal promotion that offers readers no benefit.
To share something on the mailing list, submit it via email to info@massnfca.org
Social Media Requirements
- No splinter pages, please! No new pages, groups or accounts may be opened on behalf of MassNFCA or its programs without permission. We are working hard to build our audience and brand new pages don't get the advantage of MassNFCA's online following, which is significant.
- Anyone is welcome to post things on our various platforms and pages. They can then be shared for more exposure by the various page managers.
- Requests for social media promotion across all platforms go to Kev or the chair of the Social Media Sub-committee when this committee is in place. (TBD)
- Social media requests will be passed on to the team within 24-48 hours.
Share your post directly via Facebook or mention us on Twitter and we will pass it along to our members.
E-blasts Requirements
- E-blasts are targeted emails regarding specific initiatives. The goal is that they are short and to the point and that they augment our other communications like our bi-monthly e-mails. If you would like an e-blast to be sent, get in touch with Kev.
- Any Department of Children and Family (DCF) affiliated opportunity will be run by our contact at DCF prior to the draft of any e-mail publication.
In order to include information about an opportunity in an e-blast please send a brief e-mail (3-5 sentences) describing your opportunity to Kev at info@massnfca.org
Your email should include:
- A detailed attachment/1-pager describing the opportunity, expectations, qualifications and benefits for participants
- The attachment should be written exactly as it will be read by our mailing list
- Include how to apply or register if these are necessary steps to participate
- Include a name and contact info of the person in charge of the opportunity or event
- MassNFCA is not responsible for creating any images or visuals needed to assist in sharing your resource or opportunity
We will contact you with further questions and send you a test email to make sure we've accurately portrayed your opportunity.
