Lost Coin Women’s Fund, Inc. (LCWF) supports academic opportunities for low-income Massachusetts women by providing Grants for undergraduate studies or vocational training programs. Grants are awarded up to $1,000.00. Payments are made directly to schools or programs, in the name of the grant recipients. Acceptance will be decided within four months from the date of receipt of completed application. Only one scholarship per applicant is allowed. The Fund does not give grants for payment of loans or past courses; only for courses not yet taken. Items such as books, and equipment for nurses, etc. can be considered as part of the LCWF grant request. There is no age limit for women applying for this scholarship. Must be MA state resident.

The One Family Scholars program is a comprehensive college scholarship program for low-income single parents who are earning Associate’s or Bachelor’s degrees in Massachusetts. The toll-free Hotline responds to more than 46,000 calls a year from people across Massachusetts struggling to feed their families. FoodSource Hotline counselors refer callers to food resources in their community as well as provides them with information about school meals, summer meal sites for kids, elder meals programs, and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as food stamps.

Rachel's Table is a volunteer-based group that transports unserved and unsold prepared and perishable foods that otherwise would be wasted.
This "excess" food is distributed to 35 shelters, soup kitchens and neighborhood pantries that serve our needy neighbors.
Rise Above provides opportunities to over 10,000 youth in the foster care system by responding to the growing need to give youth in foster care opportunities that will give them a sense of normalcy, provide comfort and build self-esteem.
By funding individual wishes for requests like prom expenses, soccer registration, and clarinet lessons, Rise Above provides positive experiences for children in foster care.
