Sesame Workshop created Sesame Street and Autism: See Amazing in All Children, a nationwide initiative aimed at communities with children ages 2 to 5. Developed with input from parents, people who serve the autism community, and people with autism, See Amazing in All Children offers families ways to overcome common challenges and simplify everyday activities. At the same time, the project fosters an affirming narrative around autism for all families and kids.
We are a non-profit, grassroots organization offering Reggio Emilia inspired programs for children and youth ages 2.9-15. Families and children are welcomed regardless of background and cultural differences.Programs include: day programs from Preschool to Kindergarten, (ages 2.9-5), before & after school programs (grades K-8) and summer programs (ages 3.9-15). These programs are designed to empower youth through creation and creativity.
STEM College for Kids is for students ages 9 – 14 (juniors 9 – 11 and seniors 12 – 14), and features three daily sessions of “courses" including Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) while also including the Arts. Students can enroll in single course(s) for the morning (9-11 AM), mid-day (11:45-1:45 PM), and late afternoon (2-4:00 PM) sessions or they can register for a full-week(s).

The ALC offers basic literacy courses in reading and mathematics to a 9th grade level, GED preparation, English for Speakers of Other Languages instruction, and Citizenship preparation classes to Brockton area adults. The ALC also offers Family Literacy classes which are geared toward ESOL students who have children in the Brockton Public Schools. The center also provides computer courses and counseling services.

As a foster parent, take comfort in knowing that your child's health and well-being are cared for by the FaCES (Foster Children Evaluation Services) Clinic. The clinic opened in 2003 to provide timely, high-quality health care evaluations for children in foster care in the Worcester area. Thanks to the collaboration between our Division of General Pediatrics and the Worcester's Department of Children and Families, foster health care is more coordinated. Children ages birth to 18 years old. All children enter care MUST have a health care screening within 7 calendar days and have a complete medical exam within 30 calendar days of placement.

The mission of The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts is to feed our neighbors in need and lead the community to end hunger. In Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire Counties in Western Massachusetts, approximately one in every eight people suffers from chronic food shortages or needs emergency food assistance. In some areas, rates of hunger and food insecurity are more than six times higher than the Massachusetts statewide average.
The Goddard School is not your average childcare facility. The Young Adult Vocational Program (YAVP) is a transitional program that provides daily structure for young adults with psychiatric disabilities. The program’s mission of integrating the individual back into the community is accomplished through daily structured groups and individualized support. Voices4Hope is a website created by a group of young adults with mental health challenges that work in the Transitions RTC. The goal of this site is to connect young adults with mental health challenges across the country so we can find out about things that are important to living happily and independently.
St. Patrick – St. Vincent de Paul's Food Pantry serves 2,500 individuals from Watertown. Proof of residency (driver's license, utility bill, or receipt) is required to register. Hours of operation are Tuesday and Thursday, from 10:00 am to 11:45 am.
Adult education that helps people prepare for the Hi-Set, college or a job. We all have an English Language Learning program. The Wellspring Education Resource Center provides individual counseling for students who need help going to college or a job training program.
A federal, educationally based pre-school program that provides both the child and family with education, social service, health, nutrition/dental, special needs services, and family involvement support: Acceptance based on Federal Income Guidelines. Children with special needs given special consideration. For children ages 3 and 4 years; 4 year old children receive priority placement. Must be a Worcester resident.
