Student-run mental health awareness, education, and advocacy group on campuses nationwide, the nonprofit organization works to increase students' awareness of mental health issues, provide information and resources regarding mental health and mental illness, encourage students to seek help as soon as it is needed, and serve as liaison between students and the mental health community.
Provides intensive, individualized life skills help to youth age 16-21 to help you prepare for living on your own as a young adult. The William J. Wolfe Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to talented, motivated individuals who have received services through the Key Program, Inc. (Key), Key’s Children’s Charter Division or a MA State youth-serving Agency (Dept. of Children & Families or Dept. of Youth Services). The Fund honors Key’s founder, William J. Wolfe, who maintains a life long commitment to social, educational, health, and human services. Scholarship candidates must have a demonstrated social commitment and wish to pursue an educational or vocational certificate/degree beyond high school.

Scholarship Opportunity for Casey Family Services foster. Between the ages of 16 and 49 and you're thinking about, starting, or currently attending college or university in pursuit of a certificate, associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree, or a professional degree including law or medicine but not a Ph.D. Up to $10,000 in total over the course of your education, to be utilized within 10 years of your application date funds may be used for tuition or other expenses directly related to educational pursuits for example, required books, student activity fees, registration fees, dormitory room and board, or living expenses while enrolled as a student.
Centerboard is a community based organization that supports families and young people through housing, access to employment and education, and financial empowerment. We work with parents and teens to achieve independence by providing trauma informed care and case management. In addition, we work with local residents, businesses and elected officials to increase economic opportunity in the community.
Centro Las Americas (CLA) now runs three Family Support Centers dedicated to provide support services to developmentally disabled clients and their families by coordinating medical appointments, community integration activities, respite services, case management services, information & referral, family support groups and workshops.
Boston-area students planning for higher education can come to a College Planning Center—located in Boston, Brockton, and Chelsea—for guidance on choosing a college, applying for financial aid and scholarships, managing money, and choosing a major or a career. COMPASS offers a community-based jobs program for homeless parents. COMPASS structures technical training, internships, and employment partnerships that are best suited to local transitional jobs that track toward self-sufficiency careers and a brighter future for families. The program runs in ongoing cycles and offers five different programming “tracks" – designed to specifically meet a parent's employment training and job placement needs.
We work to give consumers the information they need to understand the terms of their agreements with financial companies. We are working to make regulations and guidance as clear and streamlined as possible so providers of consumer financial products and services can follow the rules on their own.
The DCF Adopted Child Tuition Waiver and Fee Assistance Program is designed to lessen the financial burden on adopting parents in the Commonwealth. This waiver extends eligibility to all children and young adults, age twenty-four or under, adopted through DCF by state employees or eligible Massachusetts residents, regardless of the date of adoption. The tuition and fee waiver encompasses 100% of tuition and fees for state-supported courses, subject to budgetary appropriation, at all of the Massachusetts public institutions of higher education, excluding graduate courses and courses in the MD program at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.

Foster Care to Success Sponsored Scholarships – This program is funded by organizations, individuals and families across the country, giving them the opportunity to help fund foster youths' postsecondary education so they can achieve brighter futures.
We also provide academic coaches and personal mentors, enabling them to enjoy a college completion rate many times that of their peers who lack such support.
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $53,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.
In addition to VITA, the Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) program offers free tax help for all taxpayers, particularly those who are 60 years of age and older, specializing in questions about pensions and retirement-related issues unique to seniors. The IRS-certified volunteers who provide tax counseling are often retired individuals associated with non-profit organizations that receive grants from the IRS.
