Student-run mental health awareness, education, and advocacy group on campuses nationwide, the nonprofit organization works to increase students' awareness of mental health issues, provide information and resources regarding mental health and mental illness, encourage students to seek help as soon as it is needed, and serve as liaison between students and the mental health community.
Provides intensive, individualized life skills help to youth age 16-21 to help you prepare for living on your own as a young adult. We provide education, training, support. The help those who are unemployed, under-employed, at risk, people with disabilities, as well as those with limited marketable or language skills
To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.
This program is designed for young adults ages 16-22 who live with disabilities. The goal is to offer interns their first summer job, supplemented with job-readiness workshops and one-on-one Skills Training and Peer Counseling. The workshops that are offered cover areas such as resume writing, interviewing skills, work place etiquette, time & stress management, self-advocacy & disclosure as well as interpersonal communication.
Services include adult education, parenting resources including day care and head start, consumer services, food and clothing, fuel and energy, housing and shelter, income tax assistance, and scholarships.
Programs serve the following areas: Amesbury, Boxford, Georgetown, Groveland, Haverhill, Merrimac, Newbury, Newburyport, Rowley, Salisbury, and West Newbury.
COMPASS offers a community-based jobs program for homeless parents. COMPASS structures technical training, internships, and employment partnerships that are best suited to local transitional jobs that track toward self-sufficiency careers and a brighter future for families. The program runs in ongoing cycles and offers five different programming “tracks" – designed to specifically meet a parent's employment training and job placement needs.
The DCF Adopted Child Tuition Waiver and Fee Assistance Program is designed to lessen the financial burden on adopting parents in the Commonwealth. This waiver extends eligibility to all children and young adults, age twenty-four or under, adopted through DCF by state employees or eligible Massachusetts residents, regardless of the date of adoption. The tuition and fee waiver encompasses 100% of tuition and fees for state-supported courses, subject to budgetary appropriation, at all of the Massachusetts public institutions of higher education, excluding graduate courses and courses in the MD program at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.

We offer disability services, Refugee ESOL & Rapid Employment, ESOL, Skills Training in Certified Nursing Assitant & Pharmacy Technician, Adult (High School) Diploma Program, and Bridges to College for college transitions.

The One Family Scholars program is a comprehensive college scholarship program for low-income single parents who are earning Associate’s or Bachelor’s degrees in Massachusetts. In addition to financial support, we provide coaching and counselling to help Scholars throughout college and into their career.
Operation A.B.L.E. (Ability Based on LongExperience) serves as an employment and training resource for an economically, occupationally, and racially-diverse population of job seekers age 45 and older.
The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Centers and Harbor Light programs have provided spiritual, social, and emotional assistance for men and women who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves. Centers offers residential housing, work, and group and individual therapy, all in a clean, wholesome environment.

The Haven Project is a Drop-in Center that is open Tues - Thurs from 4-7PM. During these hours we provide a hot meal, snacks, basic clothing and toiletries. We coach unaccompanied youth, providing support towards securing stable housing, job placement and medical referrals.
