Workforce Readiness:
Job Readiness program. Includes Contextualized Basic Skills (classroom/computer lab), Essential/Job Readiness Skills (including an introduction to support services on-campus or at a Career Center) and Career Exploration (on campus/Career Centers, supplemented by individual advising and career exploration tools.
Eligibility for Free Training:
- Are you unemployed, underemployed, working fewer then 20 hours per week and/or do you meet the federal poverty guidelines?
and/or
- Are you new to the workforce such as; right out of high school, never been in the workforce and new immigrants who are able to work in the US
Program Benefits
Students will receive free tuition* including books, fees and materials for the spring term, with career coaching, work experience, job placement, job support, and travel vouchers.
Program Requirements
Students must meet income requirements, specific program requirements, and be able to commit fulltime. Many programs with enrollment and/or start dates begin January 2022.
